Kyverdale Road, London N16The land at 55A Kyverdale Road was bought by the client in 2011 with an expired planning consent for a 4 bedroom detached house, designed by Prewitt Bizley Architects. Archea were approached to redesign and re-submit significant sections of the design to planning in order to rationalise the structural strategy with a view to reducing the build cost.
Working in partnership with Timothy Smith & Jonathan Taylor LLP, all necessary permissions were achieved and ARCHEA were appointed on the remaining stages of the project through to post completion. This included full production information, tender coordination and contract administration (JCT MWD2011).
The end product is a unique contemporary four bedroom four storey detached family home in an up and coming neighbourhood in Stoke Newington. The clients were involved throughout the specification process and helped create an interesting blend of exposed industrial finishes with areas of vivid colour and extreme refinement.
